Paragraphs
Paragraphs are actually pretty sophisticated. Use this link as you construct or revise your lockdown piece:

Let me know if you would like a printout of "On Paragraphs."

Current event update
Niskayuna lockdown...
First, read articles, watch news stories online, search social media. What is being said? Fill out the worksheets.
Then, highlight what you agree with and what you disagree with. WHY do you agree or disagree?
Next, construct CONTEXT. From your experience, what happened on Monday? Write about your perspective.
Then, develop what you consider PROBLEMS with the situation. Be sure to discuss WHY you consider them problems.
Now, detail SOLUTIONS to some of the problems you noted. EACH SOLUTION SHOULD BE ILLUSTRATED AND EXTENDED WITH RESEARCH.
We can walk through this process Thursday / Friday of this week.
